About

I’m Grace, a writer and critic. You might know me from my work at Paste, Waypoint, DoubleXP, Uppercut or elsewhere across the internet. I primarily write criticism about video games, though sometimes film and literature. I also have aspirations toward broader cultural criticism and fiction. I’m a queer Marxist, a lapsed Mormon, and grew up in a dry place with mountains. All those things tend to explicitly or implicitly inform my work.

I do a podcast with my friend Ryan about survival horror video games called The Safe Room.

You can support the work of this blog, and my work generally, on Patreon and Ko-Fi.
